How It Works
Determine Your Needs
At Accounting Wise, we understand that each business is different which is why we create custom packages designed to fit your needs. To help determine your needs, we will need to schedule an interview to familiar ourselves with your business and current accounting system.
To help illustrate, below we have listed the various services reviewed to build a package for your business:

Frequency of Service
Next, we will want to determine the frequency of service. Based on the level of activity, the frequency of accounting work may need to be increased in order to maintain up-to-date financials, and to ensure relevant information is available when you need it.
What does onboarding and account set up look like?
Accounting System
We prefer to work with Xero although we are also experts in Quickbooks Online. If you don’t already have an accounting system we will provide you with a Xero account or Quickbooks Online, if preferred, of which is included in your monthly fee. If you already have either a Xero or QBO account, we take over the responsibility of that monthly fee.
Collaboration Tools
We use Google Suite for file sharing/storage, report collaboration, meeting notes, etc. as it provides ease of use for our customers although if you have OneDrive or another cloud storage we are happy to work with that as well.
Do you have Slack, Teams or another online chat application? Add us to it! We find our clients love having us just a click away to answer questions and work with their team. We also are available for video conferencing, e-mails and the good old-fashion telephone 😉
Estimated Setup Time
We will provide you with a timeframe of setup completion based on our review of your accounting system, any prior period activity and other factors that could increase your onboarding process. For customers with little prior period data entry or other complicating factors we estimate a 2-3 week setup period.
Once the onboarding process has been completed, we will establish a schedule for the various services chosen as well as periodic meetings to review performance and answer questions, comments, etc.
